Cameron Diaz Answers Bizarre Audience Questions During SNL Monologue (VIDEO)
Cameron Diaz opened her “SNL” monologue about how she’s been answering a lot of questions doing press for her upcoming movie Annie, adding she was happy to host the show and not have to answer more questions. So, of course, that’s when “audience members” began to pop up and ask her all sorts of questions, including whether Shrek was “just as grumpy in real-life,” and if she’d be game to have sex with one of the audience members who was married but got a “sex exception” from his wife. There were also questions about whether shooting The Other Woman was fun and a guy just noting, “I think you’re hot!”
This is the fourth time that Diaz has hosted “SNL.” The actress made her “SNL” hosting debut back in 1998, alongside musical guests The Smashing Pumpkins. She then returned to host the sketch comedy show in 2002 with the band Jimmy Eat World, and was back again in 2005 with musical guest Green Day. In addition to hosting “SNL,” Diaz has also popped up on the show, making cameos in sketches and in co-stars’ monologues.
Diaz’s “SNL” appearance comes just a few weeks before the December 19 release of Annie, starring Quvenzhane Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale. The lovable Diaz plays the evil Miss Hannigan in the movie.
