Calvin Johnson Scores On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Most Memorable Year Night (VIDEO)
Calvin Johnson and his partner Lindsay Arnold danced solidly again on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” They performed a jazz routine to Marvin Gaye’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” on the show’s “Most Memorable Year” night. Watch the video below.
Johnson, who has been in the middle of the pack but has had strong moments, performed nicely once more. As Gossip Cop reported, the former football star danced a Charleston on Cirque du Soleil night. Carrie Ann Inaba noted that his “footwork was fantastic.” And Bruno Tonioli felt his “timing was excellent.”
In the taped package before his jazz routine, Johnson shared that his most memorable year was 2012. That’s when he broke Jerry Rice’s record for the most yards received in a single season. At the end of his dance routine, Johnson caught a pass and then hugged Rice who was seated in the audience.
On “Most Memorable Year” night, Carrie Ann Inaba felt, “You bring out the fun in this competition.” Hough expressed, “You are magic.” Tonioli added, “All the little stylistic points were there… You really are a dancer.” For his jazz routine, Johnson and Arnold received a total of 24 out of 30 points.
