Caitlyn Jenner NOT Getting Vocal Surgery, Despite Report
Caitlyn Jenner is NOT undergoing vocal surgery, despite a tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We’re told she’s “keeping her voice.”
“Caitlyn Wants A New Voice,” reads a headline in this week’s Life & Style, which claims Jenner is considering vocal surgery to make her sound more feminine. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “She hates her voice because it’s a reminder of the time she spent as Bruce Jenner.” “She’s met with vocal specialists on both coasts and has spent hours in consultations,” alleges the magazine’s supposed insider. The surgery, however, comes with “unique risks,” notes the publication. “It’s invasive, and Caitlyn fears she’ll completely lose her voice,” contends the outlet’s questionable source.
But the story is not true. And the tabloid didn’t even bother to fact-check its claim. A rep for Jenner tells Gossip Cop, “She has been public on keeping her voice previously.”
Sadly, we’re not surprised by the repeatedly discredited magazine’s inaccurate story. In October, Gossip Cop called out the publication for falsely alleging Jenner was using a transgender online dating site. And shortly before that tall tale, we busted the outlet for wrongly claiming Jenner was offering to air her sex-change on TV. Much like those ridiculous claims, this latest article is equally off-base.
