Caitlyn Jenner is celebrating her first Spirit Day since becoming a member of the LGBT community. Held annually since 2010, the GLAAD event is observed by wearing purple to show support for LGBT youth, and to take a stand against bullying. See more stars below who are celebrating on Twitter!
Along with a photo of her nails painted purple, Jenner tweeted, “I’m joining @glaad and taking a stand against bullying for #SpiritDay!” Jenner’s good friend Candis Cayne similarly wrote, “Take a stand against bullying and support #LGBT youth by going purple for #SpiritDay.”
“Pretty Little Liars” star Lucy Hale wrote, “Go purple for #SpiritDay with me and @glaad to show LGBT youth that we’ve got their back !!” “Real Housewives” star Bethenny Frankel said, “Honored to wear purple to show support for #LGBT youth today.” Openly gay former baseball player Billy Bean wrote, “MLB is stepping up to raise awareness against the devastating effects of bullying.”
