Caitlyn Jenner Pressured To Date Men For “I Am Cait” Ratings Boost?
Caitlyn Jenner is NOT being pressured to date men for “I Am Cait” ratings, despite a report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story.
In this week’s issue of Life & Style, it’s alleged producers of Jenner’s E! docu-series are “pushing” her to “date a man” in order to “boost the show’s sagging ratings.” The story, however, says that “they won’t be getting their wish.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Caitlyn’s refusing to go on any dates with men for the show.”
“They’ve offered to rent out a restaurant or let Caitlyn do it at her house, but so far no luck,” the supposed source claims, with the magazine alleging “producers are going all-out to make Caitlyn comfortable.” And that’s not all. The piece further says that even Kris Jenner has “told Caitlyn she needs to date a man ‘to get much-needed publicity for the show.'”
That’s funny, because last November, the tabloid claimed Caitlyn and Kris were at war with each other, feuding over their respective reality series. And in January, the outlet said Cait was even “turning against” the Kardashians, leading to a screaming match between the former spouses. But now Kris is supposedly giving Caitlyn advice on how to improve her show?
That doesn’t add up. So Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the “I Am Cait” production, and our suspicions were confirmed: The story is a fabrication. Jenner is not being “pushed” to date men or do anything else. There is no dispute between the transgender star and her producers.
In fact, the season finale will air next week. That means it’s pretty much impossible for Jenner to suddenly be forced to go on a date in time for it to be featured on the broadcast, which is yet more proof this story was made up.
