Caitlyn Jenner Wants To Be A Movie Star?
Caitlyn Jenner is NOT trying to become a movie star, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
It was recently announced Jenner would be making an appearance on the Amazon series “Transparent,” and now according to Life & Style, the transgender star wants to parlay her TV gig into big-screen stardom. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Caitlyn has told friends and family that she wants a movie role.” The magazine’s questionable insider goes on to allege that Jenner believes she can win an Oscar one day, and supposedly “wants to be the next huge LGBT star… She thinks she will be a huge actress!”
But Gossip Cop fully investigated this claim. One Jenner source tells us that while the former Olympian is certainly excited about her upcoming acting role, she isn’t plotting to become a “movie star.” Jenner signed up for “Transparent” because the show is about being transgender. Plus, her good friend Zackary Drucker, who often appears on “I Am Cait,” is one of the show’s producers. Her participation is most assuredly not part of some grand scheme to headline films. Additionally, her own rep further exclusively tells Gossip Cop the tabloid’s sensationalized claim is entirely “not true.”
Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected Life & Style for making up stories about Jenner. We recently shot down the magazine’s claim that “I Am Cait” producers were pressuring her to date men to boost the show’s ratings. Shortly before that, we busted the tabloid for falsely alleging Jenner was writing a “tell-all” about the Kardashians. This latest report about her so-called “movie star” aspirations is equally wrong.
