Caitlyn Jenner “Mail Order Bride” Story NOT True
Caitlyn Jenner is not looking for a “mail order bride,” despite a ridiculous report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story.
An unfunny headline in this week’s National Enquirer reads, “Caitlyn’s Hungry For Thai!” It’s said in the accompanying story that Jenner is “so lonely she’s turned to ‘mail order bride’ dating sites.” The magazine explains that the transgender star is “so fed up with being single she’s looking for a quick digital fix!”
“Caitlyn’s desperately lonely,” a so-called “source” claims to the outlet. The snitch goes on to allege, “With trans pal Candis Cayne showing no more than a causal interest, she’s decided to take matters into her own hands. She wants to find someone from Thailand, where people are much more accepting of transgender women.”
It’s important, though, to take a look at the supermarket tabloid’s track record when it comes to stories on Jenner’s personal life. In January, for instance, it was said Jenner was pursuing a relationship with Monica Lewinsky. In April, a piece said Jenner was going on “secret dates” with John Travolta. And in July, Jenner was supposedly adopting with the help of a surrogate.
None of these stories was true. The magazine simply has no credibility when it comes to reporting on the Olympian. That’s why Gossip Cop wasn’t surprised in the least when Jenner’s rep exclusively told us this “mail order bride” article is entirely “false,” just like the others.
