Caitlyn Jenner Pushing Kanye West To Run For President?
In a clickbit headline, RadarOnline announces, “Madam President? Caitlyn Jenner Hatches Secret Political Plot.” That certainly makes it sound like the transgender star herself would be running for office. But that’s not what the article is actually about.
It says in the story, “Caitlyn Jenner is just the latest reality TV star with political ambitions. But according to an insider, it’s not Jenner herself who will be campaigning for office. Instead, a source told Radar, she’s got her sights set on helping Kanye West make America great again — and Kim Kardashian is not pleased.”
It’s asserted “Jenner shocked the world when she attended President Donald Trump’s inauguration in Washington DC last week, with not a single family member by her side,” and noted that Kardashian supported Hillary Clinton in the election. But since “West has spoken out in support of the President and even met with him in DC,” Jenner now “sees him as her ticket into the world of politics.”
It’s specifically alleged, “Jenner is secretly the one pushing West to run for President himself!” Claims a so-called “source” for the site, “Caitlyn and Kanye have bonded a lot over President Trump… Of course Kim does not want Kanye to run for President! She does not want the humiliation of him ever running for any office.”
But this is just the latest in a growing list of untrue articles from RadarOnline about Jenner, West, Kardashian, and Trump. Just days ago, the webloid ridiculously claimed Jenner was serving as West’s “surrogate mom.” That was followed by two Jenner-Kardashian stories ridiculously tied to the inauguration. The first alleged the Olympian was being “snubbed” by her famous family, while the other said she “dissed” them by attending the political event.
Both were sensational drivel. And in this new piece, the bad blog can’t even get basic facts right, wrongly stating West met with Trump “in DC” when their well-documented meeting took place at Trump Tower in New York. In other words, RadarOnline is not very trustworthy.
But at least sometimes its nonsense is good for unintentional laughs. Asked about Jenner pushing West to run for president, her rep exclusively told Gossip Cop, “Too funny.” Enough said.
