Caitlyn Jenner NOT A “Diva” With ESPY Awards Organizers, Despite Report
Caitlyn Jenner has not become a “demanding diva” with the organizers of the ESPY Awards, despite a new fabricated report with transphobic undertones. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it’s entirely not true.
According to a story from Life & Style, while receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs is an honor, “it isn’t enough to make Caitlyn Jenner happy.” The tabloid quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Caitlyn demanded 30 free tickets for her entourage. No one’s ever asked for that many! ESPN officials weren’t happy about it, but they had no choice.”
The magazine also alleges Jenner “insisted on a super-luxe dressing room,” and quotes its unreliable source as saying very unnaturally, “Bruce was embarrassed to ask for perks and always let Kris do the dirty work getting free swag and VIP treatment, but he must have been watching closely, because Caitlyn’s acting more like a Kardashian every day!”
As an aside, RadarOnline took the Life & Style story almost verbatim and oddly called its regurgitation “exclusive.” Either way, both the webloid and the magazine are 100 percent wrong. Jenner has not demanded 30 free tickets or a “super-luxe” dressing room from the organizers of the ESPYs. It’s a flat out lie, which borders on being transphobic because both outlets are suggesting that Jenner has become a “diva” now that she’s a woman.
Of course, both outlets have been very wrong before about Jenner, including RadarOnline’s made-up story about her having her penis removed in early May. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked with someone at the ESPYs as well as with Jenner’s rep, and we’re exclusively told the “diva” demands story is completely made-up and untrue.
