Caitlyn Jenner wants to show off her cellulite?! That’s the bizarre claim coming from the tabloids. And since Gossip Cop checks every story, we actually looked into it.

The weird piece can be found in the current National Enquirer, under the headline, “Cellulite Makes Cait Feel So Womanly!” It says in the accompanying article, “Caitlyn Jenner is telling friends she can’t wait to wear a bikini this summer to show off some skin, and her recently acquired cellulite!” Yes, that’s really what it says.

“She has this weird sense of joy when she sees patches of cellulite on her thighs, hips and tummy,” a so-called “blabbermouth” is quoted as saying. Yes, it really says “blabbermouth.” This supposed source explains, “The sight of lumpy flesh doesn’t upset her. It makes her feel more feminine!”

The supermarket tabloid further contends Jenner sees her “dimpled feminine flesh as a rite of passage into true womanhood.” And a different “squealer” (yes, really), alleges to the gossip magazine that the former Olympian “wouldn’t mind seeing more cellulite” on her body. Naturally, the story features a zoomed-in photo of purported cellulite on Jenner’s leg.

The transgender star has candidly spoken about wanting the right parts, so to speak, but is cellulite really among them? Well, the contention that Jenner sees this as a “rite of passage into true womanhood” doesn’t make much sense since men can develop cellulite on their bodies, too. Gossip Cop is also reminded of a story from the outlet last year that wrongly claimed Jenner wanted “foot reduction surgery” to help “achieve her ideal as the perfect woman.”

Of course, the “I Am Cait” star never had any such procedure, and she’s not celebrating cellulite now. A rep for Jenner exclusively tells Gossip Cop the questionable report is “all false.” It also seems to contradict a January story about Jenner supposedly wanting “Bruce’s brain” back.

That piece alleged she was second-guessing her transition and was refusing to let go of her “alter ego.” That doesn’t really jive with the foot surgery tale before it and this new cellulite one after, which are all about embracing femininity. It all just goes to show the National Enquirer cares as much about consistency as it does accuracy.
