Caitlyn Jenner Cancels Speaking Tour
Caitlyn Jenner has canceled her upcoming speaking tour, Gossip Cop confirms.
As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner’s rep confirmed in October that she would embark on a five-city tour with the women’s lecture organization Unique Lives and Experiences. The tour was to be called “Up Close And Personal,” with the transgender star slated to make appearances at venues in Toronto, Vancouver, Denver, San Francisco, and Seattle beginning in late February. Tickets were on sale with prices ranging from $40 to $500 for a VIP package, depending on the location.
But now the entire tour has been canceled, due to scheduling conflicts. One outlet is suggesting lack of interest and slow ticket sales may have also played a role, but a rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop there was “simply a conflict in work dates,” and it’s “possible” the tour may be rescheduled. Currently, though, Jenner is no longer featured on the Unique Lives and Experiences official website, where a page previously touted the former Olympian’s accomplishments and her speaking gigs.
Jenner used to be well-known on the speaking circuit. After marrying Kris Jenner, the two masterminded a second career for the one-time athlete as a motivational speaker. Since coming out as transgender last April and then making her debut as Caitlyn in June, Jenner has made just a couple of appearances where she’s spoken about her journey. Gossip Cop will update if the canceled dates are eventually rescheduled.
