Caitlyn Jenner Adopting Claim Late And Wrong
Caitlyn Jenner is still not adopting, despite a new report that’s both late and wrong. Gossip Cop can once again correct this claim.
The National Enquirer announces in a headline, “Caitlyn Jenner Dreaming Of Being A Mom.” The tabloid further blares on its website that the star will have her “7th child at 66!” And, using photos of Jenner at Wednesday’s ESPY Awards, it’s said she “has plans for a different kind of award.”
“The former male Olympian wants to be Mother of the Year,” declares the outlet, which claims she’s “started to consider adoption.” A so-called “spy” is quoted as saying, “Cait wants another child desperately. She doesn’t want to completely freak out the whole family, but her own children are totally behind the idea.”
It’s alleged Jenner “wants to hire a surrogate,” but would be “as actively involved in the pregnancy as possible from day one,” because “she wants to experience motherhood firsthand!” The magazine even speculates that the transgender star is partially motivated by a desire to compete with ex-wife Kris Jenner, who’s said to be “angling for a late-in-life tot!” A supposed “informant” adds, “Dueling babies would be TV ratings gold!”
Maybe, but it’s not happening. Gossip Cop has been debunking rumors about Jenner adopting since last December. In fact, some of the quotes in this piece are actually word-for-word regurgitations of a RadarOnline story Gossip Cop busted more than a month ago.
But there’s simply no plans to adopt, then or now. And, by the way, Kris Jenner isn’t having another baby, either. Gossip Cop also corrected those suspiciously similar surrogacy and adoption allegations from RadarOnline, the National Enquirer’s sister outlet, just two weeks ago.
