Caitlyn Jenner NOT “Adopting Baby Boy,” Despite Report (EXCLUSIVE)
Caitlyn Jenner is NOT “adopting a baby boy,” despite a tabloid cover story falsely alleging she’s becoming “a first-time ‘mom’ at 66.” Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the report.
The new issue of In Touch, which hit newsstands on Wednesday, quotes a so-called “insider” as saying Jenner “is going to adopt and she’s leaning toward a little boy.” The magazine claims the transgender star “isn’t doing it alone,” but “wants to raise a child with the help of gal pal Candis Cayne.” The supposed source alleges, “Caitlyn and Candis have thought about adopting an older child because there are a lot of trans kids whose parents have turned away, or who have run away from home. But the ideal scenario is a baby. Being a mom is Caitlyn’s dream.”
But, the outlet goes on to say, “Ex-wife Kris Jenner and the Kardashian-Jenner clan think it’s a terrible idea,” and it all supposedly led to “an explosive showdown with every member of her immediate family.” The tipster claims Kris believes “adopting a baby is not only ridiculous but a shameful grab for attention,” while it’s said Kim and Khloe Kardashian “actually laughed when they heard the news.”
Meanwhile, Kourtney is described as “horrified,” but the tabloid says “it’s Caitlyn’s two youngest children who are having the toughest time with it.” The alleged “insider” claims, “Kendall and Kylie are both hurt by the idea. They’re supportive of their dad’s transitioning, but they’re still adjusting to losing the only dad they knew growing up and now here comes Caitlyn, in her fabulous new life, creating a new family for herself. They don’t get it at all.”
The rest of the piece is filled out with details about Bruce Jenner not being “the best dad,” how Caitlyn can better provide for a child these days, and quotes from adoption agency staffers who have never even met her. But what’s probably most outrageous about all of this is that buried in its story, In Touch confesses that its cover photo of Jenner pushing a stroller is a “recreation.”
Of course, this is the same tabloid that ran a photoshopped cover photo of Bruce as a woman (manipulated with the help of a picture of actress Stephanie Beacham) before she publicly came out. Now In Touch is continuing its tradition of publishing falsehoods and running not just fake pictures, but fake stories, too. A rep for Jenner exclusively tells Gossip Cop the adoption claim is flat-out “not true.”
