Caila Quinn To Be Next “Bachelorette”?
Caila Quinn will reportedly be the next star of “The Bachelorette.” ABC will not confirm the speculation.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Caila was among the 25 women competing for Ben Higgins’ affections during this season of “The Bachelor.” The 23-year-old software sales representative was considered a frontrunner early on after scoring the first one-on-one date of the season, and then becoming the first contestant to go on two of them. But on this week’s episode, Higgins broke up with Quinn following their overnight Fantasy Suite date.
As heartbreaking as it was, Quinn’s elimination made her a prime candidate for “The Bachelorette.” It’s become tradition over the last few seasons for the lead to come from “The Bachelor,” but the second-place finisher isn’t usually in contention. The Top 3 finalist, who is Filipino, also fits outgoing ABC president Paul Lee’s desire to have a “diverse” star.
Speculation Quinn would get the gig heated up this week after she was spotted filming with a camera crew in her Ohio hometown. While other would-be stars have done tapings and then ultimately been passed over, one prominent “Bachelor” franchise blogger, Reality Steve, says it’s Qunn’s title to lose. Steve has correctly spoiled this season of “The Bachelor” so far.
It’s possible the next “Bachelorette” will be revealed on the “After The Final Rose” special later this month. This Monday, though, Quinn will have the chance to confront Higgins on the “Women Tell All” special. Gossip Cop will have updates.
