Bryan Singer allegedly has proof that he was not in Hawaii at the time he’s been accused of sexually assaulting a then-teenage boy named Michael Egan.

According to Egan, the famed director drugged and raped him during trips to the islands in August and October 1999 — allegations Singer has categorically denied and called “fabricated.”

Now, TMZ reports that Singer believes he has evidence proving he was shooting the first X-Men movie in Toronto at the same time Egan alleges he was purportedly assaulting him in Hawaii.

X-Men was officially shot in Canada from September 22, 1999 through March 3, 2000 — but Singer was also reportedly present in the area for pre-production.

He is reportedly set to file documents, including credit card bills, that show he was there during the alleged Egan incidents.
