Bryan Bautista “Pillow Talk” “The Voice” Video: Watch Live Playoffs Performance!
Bryan Bautista covered Zayn Malik’s “Pillow Talk” for his Live Playoffs performance on “The Voice” on Monday. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Bautista won his Knockout face-off last week with a reworking of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry.” Now the aspiring star went with another Hot 100 hit from earlier this year. And with Malik’s debut single, Bautista gave his very first live performance of the NBC music competition.
By the second half of the song, which changed up the melody a little bit, the contestant really seemed to find his groove. It led to a standing ovation from all four coaches. Pharrell told Bautista, “What you came out here and did — I’m looking at Adam, like, who knew?!” He went on, “That honestly — you have what it takes to win.”
Adam Levine called Bautista a “superstar,” and said, “Tonight was just a moment where I was completely blown away. You murdered that song. Like what?! Who?! How?! When?!” Blake Shelton then told him, “And besides the range and the perfect voice, this guy is smooth, too. Look at the girls like out here!”
Levine then quipped that Bautista’s girlfriend “better hold on for dear life.” And coach Christina Aguilera told her artist, “That was amazing… Maybe they were surprised, I wasn’t. I heard it from the Blind Audition on.”
“You nailed it,” Aguilera went on. “This was a whole different song by the time you got down with it. I wanna hear it again!” Watch below!
