VIDEO: Bruno Mars Serenades 11-Year-Old Car Crash Survivor Who Used His Music To Speak Again
Bruno Mars gave one deserving young fan a performance she’ll never forget at his recent show in Cleveland.
11-year-old Zumyah Thorpe suffered a traumatic head injury last year in a horrific car accident that killed her pregnant mother and two sisters.
Thorpe endured months of painful recovery — and Mars’ music played a key role in helping her regain motor and language skills.
When Mars heard about Thorpe’s story, he arranged to meet privately with her and her family, singing several songs and giving her a teddy bear.
At the Cleveland concert, Mars serenaded Thorpe with his hit “Just The Way You Are.”
It made for an incredible moment.
