Bruno Mars iHeartRadio Music Awards Video 2017: Watch “That’s What I Like” Performance!
Bruno Mars performed “Treasure” and “That’s What I Like” at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday. Watch below!
Mars was the very first performer announced for the fourth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards. And in January, when the nominations were unveiled, it was revealed he scored a nod for “All I Ask” in the category of Best Cover Song. As Gossip Cop has reported, Mars co-wrote and produced the track for Adele, but performed his own take for BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge. Video of the performance now has more than 12 million views on YouTube.
In February, weeks after the nominations reveal, organizers announced Mars would be receiving the 2017 iHeartRadio Innovator Award, which is the award show’s biggest honor. It is given each year to one artist who has contributed greatly to both the music industry and pop culture as a whole. Mars is now the fourth male act in a row to earn the award, following Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, and U2.
And in addition to going into tonight with that guaranteed honor, Mars is also already an iHeart Music Awards winner from last year. At the 2016 show, it was revealed he and Mark Ronson won Best Collaboration for “Uptown Funk.” Mars had an extreme amount of success with that track, and is now enjoying the success of “24K Magic” and “That’s What I Like.” Check out video of his iHeartRadio Music Awards performance below!
