VIDEO: Bruno Mars Wears Hair Curlers While Performing “Uptown Funk” On The Voice Finale
Bruno Mars has always been known for his style as much as his silky smooth voice. He may have taken both to a new level on Tuesday’s season 7 finale of “The Voice,” when he took to the stage with curlers in his hair for an amazing performance. Check out the video below!
Mars was performing “Uptown Funk,” his hit collaboration with Mark Ronson. Clad in all black with a plaid-printed leather jacket, all attention moved up to his head, which was covered in rollers. No explanation was given for the unexpected look, but it was likely a nod to the song’s music video, in which Mars wears curlers as he gets a perm. And dare we say it, he pulls off the rollers quite well!
As Gossip Cop reported, Mars and Ronson performed “Uptown Funk” on “Saturday Night Live” last month, three weeks after the song debuted. The track marks Ronson’s first Top 10 as an artist, while it gave Mars his fifth Top 5 song on the Billboard 100, where it peaked in the fifth spot. It went all the way to number one, however, in Australia, Israel, Scotland and Canada.
Mars was clearly excited about bringing it to “The Voice.” He tweeted earlier in the day, “WE ON TV TONIGHT!” And on TV with hair curlers. Watch the video below, and tell us what you think!
