Bruce Springsteen Kicks Off Tour, Plays First Show Without Clarence Clemons

VIDEOBruce Springsteen and the E Street Band kicked off a new era on Friday at New York’s historic Apollo Theater, playing their first show without Clarence Clemons, who died last June.

The concert opened the legendary rocker’s 2012 tour in support of his new “Wrecking Ball” album.
Ben Stiller, Paul Rudd and John McEnroe were among the celebs in attendance at the event, which also marked the 10th anniversary of SiriusXM satellite radio.
Clemons’ nephew Jake has taken his spot as the band’s saxophonist.
