Bruce Jenner NOT Making “Grand Entrance” As Woman At Next Year’s Met Gala, Despite Report (EXCLUSIVE)
Bruce Jenner is NOT making his “grand entrance” as a woman at next year’s Met Gala, despite a sensational, and insensitive, new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim, with a rep telling us the story is entirely untrue.
The allegation comes from the National Enquirer, which claims Jenner is “going for the gold again,” and will “star in a super-splashy, first-time public grand entrance as a WOMAN at next season’s Met Gala super-bash — strolling the red carpet in an eye-dazzling designer gown on the arms of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.” The supermarket tabloid quotes a “source” as saying, “They’re really trying to keep it a secret,” and that the plan is the “brainchild” of Kardashian and West.
“When they told Bruce, he practically cried with happiness,” claims the Enquirer “source,” who further alleges, “Even more touching: They’re collaborating with a top designer to create a one-of-a-kind art-piece gown that’ll make the statuesque Olympian dazzle from here to eternity.” Continuing in even more unnatural language, the supposed tipster says, “Bruce is super-excited. He’ll finally get to shine publicly in the most flamboyant gown he could ever imagine. He’ll literally be the grandest belle at the Met Gala ball… in a magical dream come true!”
Accompanying the Enquirer story in this week’s magazine is a shamefully manipulated photo that has Jenner’s face photoshopped on to a dress-wearing woman’s body. Of course, the Enquirer is the same publication that made up a fake “lust list” of celebrity men with whom Jenner supposedly wanted to hook up, so its continual mishandling of reporting on the star’s transition is no surprise.
Regardless, Gossip Cop spoke with Jenner’s rep, who not only exclusively told us that the Enquirer story is completely false, but he also called the magazine “idiots.” It’s also worth noting that far more reputable outlets have already reported that Jenner will likely debut as a woman this summer, NOT at the Met Gala in another year.
