Bruce Jenner TV Special Promo: “I Don’t Think I’ve Ever Been As Scared” (VIDEO)
Bruce Jenner’s two-part special, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce,” released its first promo on Thursday, and if the first one-minute clip is any indication, it looks to be very emotionally compelling TV. In the promo, we see footage of Jenner from his youth until present, as well as his many kids and stepchildren talking about his transition. See the promo below.
The promo starts with a young Jenner working out and out on the town while he says in voiceover, “You’re thinking someday you’re going to get over it. These are my secrets that I have to deal with on my own.” Next, there’s footage from his wedding to Kris Jenner, who’s heard saying, “I met him on a blind date, and it was kind of love at first sight.”
Jenner is then seen holding a very young Kendall Jenner, as he says, “Whatever happens, I want you to know that daddy loves you.” As more footage is shown of Jenner with his kids when they were little, Kim Kardashian explains in a voiceover, “We wanna understand his struggle.” And Kourtney Kardashian notes, “I think his biggest concern is he doesn’t want to hurt us.”
“I do want to meet ‘Her” when he’s ready… when we’re both ready,” says Kylie Jenner. Her sister Kendall can next be heard through tears saying, “I just don’t like when people say Bruce is gonna be gone.” He consoles Kendall by assuring her, “I’m not going anywhere.” The clip ends with Jenner revealing, “I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids.” The two-part special airs on May 17 and May 18.
