Bruce Jenner Sued For Wrongful Death By Stepchildren Of Car Crash Victim Kim Howe
Bruce Jenner has just been sued for the wrongful death of Kim Howe by her stepchildren. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Howe was the woman killed by Jenner during a car crash in February when his Escalade slammed into the back of Howe’s Lexus, and sent her vehicle into oncoming traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway. After Jenner hit her car from behind, Howe veered into the opposite lane, where her car was smashed by a Hummer. Howe died on the scene, and now her stepchildren are suing.
In the lawsuit, the stepchildren allege Jenner was “careless and negligent” when he caused the fatal crash. The suit says Jenner was speeding at the time, reports TMZ. As Gossip Cop noted shortly after the accident, Jenner was not texting nor was he talking on his cell phone, and he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
It will be a tough for Howe’s stepchildren to win damages for their claim of loss of affection since they reportedly were never close with her. In fact, she left nothing in her will to them. Instead, Howe designated the millions of dollars she had to go to a number of charities, including several animal protection organizations, such as PETA and the Doris Day Animal League. Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Jenner for a comment about the wrongful death lawsuit.
