Brooke Mueller, Denise Richards Not Teaming Up To Get More Child Support From Charlie Sheen, Despite Report
Charlie Sheen’s ex-wives, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, are not teaming up to get the actor pay them more in child support, despite a new report. Gossip Cop exclusively correct this. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to the repeatedly discredited Life & Style, on the heels of Sheen trying to get a judge to reduce his child support payments to the mothers of four of his children, Mueller and Richards have united to actually make the actor increase his monthly payments by five-and-a-half times. A so called “source” tells the tabloid, “They are joining forces to demand that Charlie pay them $55,000 each per month.”
Among the many factual errors in the tabloid’s report is that the magazine mistakenly claims Mueller and Richards are currently receiving $10,000-a-month each in child support and are seeking $55,000. In reality, the reason Sheen went to court to reduce his payments is because he’s already paying $55,000-a-month to Mueller. She’s also not looking to get more in child support, but rather she’s fighting to preserve that amount, which was agreed upon in her divorce settlement from Sheen.
Notwithstanding that the entire premise of the tabloid’s article is based on misinformation, it also seems the magazine tethered its tall tale on a recent photo of Mueller and Richards together in Los Angeles. Regardless, Gossip Cop is exclusively told by an insider that the two women, who both have a couple of kids with Sheen, met up to discuss their children and not about getting more money from the HIV positive actor. Our impeccable source tells us the publication’s whole story is “not true.”
