Brody Jenner On Bruce’s Transition: “It’s Great How Happy He Is Now” (VIDEO)
Brody Jenner broke his silence on his dad Bruce Jenner’s female transition for the first time since the Diane Saywer interview last month. Speaking to “Extra” on Thursday, the DJ said he’s “very proud” of Bruce for coming out as transgender. “It’s been a journey for all of us, but we’re very supportive and I love him to death, and it’s great to see how happy he is now,” said Brody.
When asked if he thinks Bruce is an “even bigger hero now,” Brody quickly agreed, saying “One hundred percent, absolutely. I think it’s going to change a lot of lives, and hopefully save a lot of lives.”
Brody also took some time to squash a few rumors claiming there was tension between the Jenners and the Kardashians. “I love my sisters. They’re incredible people, and we get along just great,” said Brody, adding that there’s also no beef between him and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West over the couple’s May 2014 wedding.
In a recent episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Brody told Scott Disick he was upset Kim wouldn’t let him bring his girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter to her Italian nuptials, but now he says there’s no bad blood between him and his stepsister. “I love Kim to death, but I never see them. They’re very busy, as am I,” noted Brody, adding, “I didn’t go to their wedding. I heard it was great. I wish I would have gone. It just didn’t work out… I had some work stuff I had to do.”
