Britney Spears Considering Reality Show About Life As Working Mom?
Britney Spears is NOT considering starring on a reality show that would focus on her life as a working mom, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor. We’re told it’s “false.”
According to OK!, the singer has been receiving offers to venture once again into the world of reality television, and she’s very intrigued by the idea. As you may recall, Spears and then-husband Kevin Federline starred on a five-episode reality show in 2005 titled, “Britney and Kevin: Chaotic,” which focused on their engagement and wedding. Now, a so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Many networks have approached her about showing her life as a working mom, and Brit’s eager to prove that she’s normal and show off her fun-loving side.”
The tabloid further claim that Spears’ dad, Jamie, isn’t on board with the supposed idea. The magazine’s supposed source says, “The last thing he wants is for Britney to embarrass herself or be taken advantage of.” But Gossip Cop spoke with a source close to the singer, who exclusively assures us that Spears has not been pitched a reality show, and the tabloid’s story is simply “false.”
Of course, the webloid doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to accurately reporting about Spears. Gossip Cop recently debunked the tabloid’s phony claim that the singer’s dad was banning her from dating. And shortly before that, we called out the magazine for falsely alleging Spears was shopping around a movie biopic, and wanted Kristen Stewart or Jennifer Lawrence to play her. No one is playing Spears in a movie nor is she doing a reality show about her life as a working mom.
