Britney Spears posts “Top 75 Bulls#!t” stories of 2009

Britney Spears, the subject of numerous inaccurate blog and tabloid tales – and then an equal number of Gossip Cop corrections – has decided to fight back.
She has complied a list of the “Top 75 Bulls#!t” stories about her in the media, and posted them on her website.
According to Spears’s site, “There were more then 13,000 stories written about Britney in 2009. We ranked the ones we believe were the most ridiculous. Either because they were factually inaccurate, because they reported the patently absurd, or because we believe they are simply offensive to the sensibilities.”
The #1 “BS” story, chosen by Spears & Co., was “Britney dates Indian Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar.” Among the many other stories listed that Gossip Cop also covered are “Fans storm out of Britney’s Australian show due to lip-synching” (#3) and “Beau says no to Britney’s proposal” (#9).
Taking a page from GossipCop, “Britney will continue to post factually inacurate stories on her site as we enter 2010,” her rep tells us.
