Britney Spears Set for Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel Residency?

There have been reports out of Las Vegas this week that Britney Spears is set to become a resident headliner at the Hard Rock Hotel.

While much of the original reporting said only that Spears was in discussions for such an arrangement, many outlets have run with the rumor and made it seem as though a deal is close.

The buzz is that Spears would perform at The Joint, the hotel’s 4,000-seat concert venue, for a still to-be-determined length of time.

But is Spears really planning to set up shop in Sin City?

It doesn’t look like it.

While things can change, right now a rep for Spears tells Gossip Cop that there are no plans for a Hard Rock residency.
