Britney Spears Wearing “Giant Engagement Ring”?

“Are Britney Spears and Jason Trawick engaged?” asks Hollywood, which poses a lot of questions and yet rarely has any right answers.

The blog writes, “Britney was caught wearing a huge diamond on the finger generally reserved for engagement rings,” before adding how “Jason recently met with a celebrity jeweler (sic) and reportedly designed a ring for his lady!”

First off, Trawick went to a jewelry store, but he was NOT designing a ring for Spears.

And the bauble she has on, notes our Spears insider, is “the same ring she has worn before,” which has similarly sparked false engagement stories over and over and over again.

A rep for the singer assures Gossip Cop, “She is not engaged.”

Once again, a HollywoodLife story that doesn’t ring true.
