“Britney Spears‘ boyfriend Jason Trawick set to propose!” announces an “exclusive” from X17Online, which says Trawick was seen yesterday shopping for engagement rings at the the Mouawad jewelry showroom in Los Angeles.
A supposed “source” for the blog reveals that Trawick “was spotted chatting with jeweler Pascal Mouawad,” noting, “They spent an hour talking about engagement rings for Britney.”
“They discussed diamonds from the Mouawad private collection,” adds the alleged “source.”
Not exactly.
A rep for Spears tells Gossip Cop, “There is no truth to that report with regards to engagement rings. However, Jason was there to discuss other matters with Pascal but nothing relating to him personally.”
As usual with so-called X17 “exclusives,” this one doesn’t ring true.
