Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are engaged, a source confirms to Gossip Cop!

The proposal happened last night.

“She’s very happy and they’ll be celebrating this weekend,” a source close to Spears tells Gossip Cop.

The pair plans to begin with a party on Friday in Las Vegas.

Spears hinted at the news this morning, tweeting, “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!!”

She and Trawick been dating for more than two years.

He worked as Spears’ agent until last May, when he left William Morris Endeavor to join a start-up company named Famos.

Spears has been married twice before — to Jason Alexander in 2004 (a union that was quickly annulled), and later that year to Kevin Federline, from whom she filed for divorce in 2006.
