Britney Spears Emotionally Rejects Former Collaborator on X Factor (VIDEO)

Britney Spears had a dramatic run-in with a past collaborator on “The X Factor” premiere on Wednesday night.

Don Philip, who sang on Spears’ “I Will Still Love You” track more than ten years ago, seemed hopeful that his connection to the pop singer would help his chances.

However, after his shaky rendition of Beyonce’s “Halo,” not one of the judges opted to pass him through to the next round.

Simon Cowell told Philip bluntly, “You don’t have a good singing voice.”

And Spears said gently, “Your voice really isn’t up to the bar of the standards of ‘The X Factor’ and what we want.”

Philip broke down, and came out to Spears, who comforted him, but the moment was not shown on TV.

    seriously, people need to really listen to themselves on tape or have someone who loves them tell them the truth before they go and do something embarrassing like that in front of so many people. She felt bad, obviously, but at some point people need to realize…

    Omg If I were Britney I would be so embarrassed that I ever worked with him. Although I have heard Brittney Spears singing live and she is terrible.

    lets stop this right here: she is not the singer out there, but she does have a nice voice. a voice she is lazy enough to not really use it!!!!
