Britney Spears Wants To Date Rich “Tech Geek”?
Britney Spears is NOT trying to date a rich “tech geek,” despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “incorrect.”
According to Star, the singer has been inspired by Miranda Kerr, who just got engaged to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, to make a tech entrepreneur her next boyfriend. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Britney thinks a tech geek would be a way better move than the other deadbeats she’s dated in the past. Brit feels like she can win these Silicon Valley guys over with her charm and has made a list of startup founders she wants dates with.”
A telltale sign this story is fake is that the tabloid’s seemingly fabricated source called Spears both “Britney” and “Brit” in successive sentences. Real people don’t call friends by different names from one phrase to another. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with an actual source close to Spears, who exclusively tells us she isn’t pursuing a wealthy suitor in the tech industry, and the outlet’s claim is simply “incorrect.”
Of course, we’re not shocked by the tabloid’s bogus report, since Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected Star for various inaccurate stories about the singer. We recently busted the magazine for falsely claiming Spears’ Las Vegas dressing room is a disgusting mess littered with dirty plates and food wrappers. And shortly before that piece of fiction, Gossip Cop debunked the outlet’s fabricated account about Spears going on a blind date with a fan she met on a dating app. This latest publication’s latest article about Spears is equally untrue.
