REPORT: Britney Spears Conservatorship Coming to End
9:50 am, October 4th, 2010
The conservatorship for Britney Spears will reportedly soon end.
After impressing Judge Reva Goetz during a meeting in chambers last Thursday, Spears will likely gain legal independence within three months, according to RadarOnline.
A source for the site says Spears “has made tremendous progress” in recent months and “seems to be firmly in control again.”
Spears and lawyer Sam Imgham met with Goetz for approximately 35 minutes. Supposedly, the judge also spoke with Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, as well as her therapist.
Jamie Spears obtained the conservatorship in February 2008 after his daughter suffered several high-profile breakdowns.
The next hearing on the matter is scheduled for October 14.
Gossip Cop, however, has been unable to confirm the conservatorship drawing to a close.
