Britney Spears Has “Cold Feet” Over Marrying Jason Trawick?

Britney Spears is suffering from “cold feet,” and is “rethinking walking the aisle” with Jason Trawick, reports Us Weekly.

The mag notes that Spears accepted Trawick’s marriage proposal eight months ago, but has been “dragging her feet” when it comes to setting a date.

According to Us, Spears was “originally set to marry in Hawaii this summer,” but said she was “too busy.”

Now, reports the mag, Trawick is pushing for December, but the “X Factor” judge “isn’t having any of it.”

Why?

A supposed “insider” tells Us that Spears “sometimes feels Jason’s more of a mentor than a husband.”

Let’s begin with the Hawaii summer wedding claim.

The National Enquirer floated Hawaii as a wedding destination back in January, and was wrong. And In Touch claimed Spears and Trawick would wed this summer, but that too was inaccurate.

A Spears insider assures Gossip Cop that the singer’s relationship is “fine,” and that she and Trawick remain “happy” together.

We’re also told there were never plans for a summer wedding in Hawaii, and that Spears is jammed with work on “X Factor” until the end of the year.

    This is one case where I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some truth to that particular rumor, whether anyone’s prepared to say so in public or not. First of all, Trawick has been “approved” as Britney’s future husband by Britney’s father, who due to her emotional difficulties in the past, has managed to seize control not only over her finances, but of her personal life as well, something which any young woman could hardly help but bitterly resent. Secondly, Trawick, as Britney’s ostensible “manager”, seems to think that she is little more than his personal puppet, who should speak, smile, and move only at his command, and in ways of which he approves. Why would any remotely normal, successful young woman put up with that kind of control freak, when she is the one with the celebrity and the money? Before he managed, via her father, to insinuate himself into Britney’s life, Jason Trawick was nothing, and if Britney has half the intelligence I give her credit for, she will find a way to rid herself of both of these blood-sucking vampires.

    Robert, Did you forget that Spears has Mental issues? Those don’t just go away, they have to be medicated which is why people sometimes say she has a ‘vacant’ look. Every so often the court reviews the Conservatorshp, that includes medical records, psychiatric records and the COURT decides whether Spears needs the continued support of the Conservatorship based on that information. They also listen to what Britney wants. Britney has access to her money, but not DIRECT. For large items, like a car or house, she needs to get approval from the Conservators.. This is to protect her and assure that the money is not being siphoned off by some scumbag like her so called manager Sam Lufti and paparazzo Adnan Ghalib who both influence her to her detriment. No one just seized this woman’s life. If it weren’t for the conservatorship, she’d be dead. If you recall she was being taken advantage of by the people around her, she had a mental breakdown. You DO recall her shaving off all hair as well as other melt downs she has. Why do you think she doesn’t have primary custody of her kids? You think she could handle being a Judge on American Idol without many people holding her hands behind the scenes?

    Marrying? Again? How many times did she even married? I can not remember anymore. I still can remember that she dated Justin Timberlake (who still was with that boyband ‘N Sync) and was married to that douchbag Kevin Federline in 2004.

    She is still a slave. Just look at her. Maybe if she travelled to outer Siberia where no one can get to her she might start to think for herself.
