Britney Spears Cheek Implants Claim NOT True
Britney Spears is not looking to get cheek implants, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s entirely “not true.”
According to Life & Style, while Spears looked great last month at the Billboard Music Awards, “She’s her own biggest critic, and she thinks she needs improvement.” The tabloid then quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Britney recently met with a top Beverly Hills surgeon to talk about cheek implants.” The supposed “source” further alleges, “She was tired of getting fillers put in every six months — she wanted something more permanent.”
The magazine goes on to claim that a plastic surgeon has “already started the process of getting the mold together, which is being custom trimmed to fit [Spears’s] face.” “She’s been thinking about this for a year now and finally decided to take the plunge,” adds the tabloid’s alleged “source.” Actually, the publication’s report should get plunged.
Spears is not getting cheek implants. She never met with a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon about it. And she most assuredly is not getting a mold custom-fit to her face. A source close to Spears tells Gossip Cop the tabloid’s story is 100 percent “not true.”
Gossip Cop, however, is not that surprised Life & Style got it wrong. We have busted the publication numerous times for inaccurate reports. Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely claiming Spears was “still hooking up” with Jason Trawick after the two had split up. We also nailed the outlet when it untruthfully alleged Spears was afraid her then-boyfriend David Locado has impregnated her. And Gossip Cop exposed the magazine when it inaccurately stated she was “planning a wedding” to Charlie Ebersol.
None of those stories were remotely true. Nor were the tabloid’s more recent articles that falsely claimed Spears was “irate” about sharing the same stage in Las Vegas as Jennifer Lopez or that she’s on the verge of a breakdown. Simply, either the tabloid relies on ill-informed sources or it’s making up phony tales about Spears. Either option is not good.
