Brian Nhira “Alive” “The Voice” Video: Watch Live Playoffs Performance!
Brian Nhira came “Alive” during the Live Playoffs on “The Voice” on Tuesday. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Nhira was originally on Team Pharrell, but was stolen by Adam Levine after performing the coach’s own song, “Sugar” by Maroon 5, during the Battle round. That proved to be a wise choice during the Knockouts, when Levine said Nhira was an artist he couldn’t “live without.” Now, for his first live performance of the NBC music competition, Nhira earned more raves for his take on Sia’s “Alive.”
After the powerful and emotional performance, Christina Aguilera said to Nhira, “Sia is so hard to execute, especially because you’re a male. That’s a crazy range you have right there… I loved it.” Pharrell also commended the aspiring star’s high notes, admitting, “I don’t understand how you do it. You’re like defying logical.”
And Levine said to his artist, “I call you ‘Game Time’ because I don’t have to worry. You go out and you kill it every time.” The coach went on to joke that among the good news, Nhira “will never in your life have to sing a harder song.” But, more seriously, he called the performance “excellent.” Check out the full video below!
