Brian Austin Green Needs Spousal Support From Megan Fox, Can’t Work Due To Vertigo From Car Accident
As Gossip Cop reported, Fox filed for divorce on Friday, just two days after it was revealed she and Green had separated after five years of marriage and 11 years together overall. The filing also came more than eight months after the estranged spouses were in a car accident with an allegedly drunken driver. Green is reportedly still suffering from injuries sustained in the crash, which may affect the divorce proceedings.
As Gossip Cop noted at the time, Green was behind the wheel with Fox as the passenger in December when a 35-year-old man named Ignacio Demaria, “crossed over the double yellow lines into opposing traffic and collided” with the couple’s car. Demaria was arrested for DUI, though it’s not clear how the case turned out. But TMZ now reports that the head-on collision led the airbags to deploy, and Green was likely whipped in the face.
He is said to have suffered from vertigo ever since, with the condition so severe he is unable to get out of bed most days. Indeed, when Green was seen in public in early August, it was the first sighting in nearly two months. But as Green has allegedly been unable to work since the accident, and made less money than Fox to begin with, he will reportedly seek spousal support.
The actor has not yet filed his response to Fox’s divorce petition, and neither have publicly commented on the split. Green and Fox have two sons together, Noah and Bodhi, and are reportedly still living in the same house for now. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.
