Bret Michaels was rushed back to the hospital this week after doctors discovered a hole in his heart.

Medical staff determined that Michaels suffered a “warning stroke,” known clinically as a transient ischemic attack.

The rocker, already recovering from a brain hemorrhage, complained of “numbness on the left side of his body, predominately his face and hands,” according to a statement on his official website.

A series of tests showed a patent forum ovale, which is a hole in the heart.

It’s believed to be “operable and treatable.”
