Bret Easton Ellis Accuses Lindsay Lohan Of Missing Canyons Work, Actress Denies

Screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis is not happy with one of his leading ladies: Lindsay Lohan.

The avid Twitter user called out Lohan on the social networking site late Wednesday, alleging she blew off scheduled work on The Canyons.

Referencing his iconic American Psycho character, Ellis wrote, “Patrick Bateman has just headed over to Lindsay Lohan’s hotel to confront her as to why she missed her f**king ADR on ‘The Canyons’ today…”

ADR refers to automatic dialogue replacement, the process of re-recording (also known as dubbing) lines in post-production.

Lohan didn’t respond to Ellis’ allegation on Twitter, but a source close to the actress assures Gossip Cop, “She did not miss anything.”

    Bret Easton Ellis is a crackpot. He starts arguments with anyone and everyone for no reason at all. Out of the blue he said some pretty disgusting and disgraceful things about other script writers, he likes attention. He isn’t even the producer or director of the movie.He is best ignored.

    B.E.E. does like to insert himself into relevant stories, but it makes no sense for him to call Lindsay out if its not true. So my money’s on her being a no show.

    No idea what Brett Easton Ellis is like, but Lindsay does have a history of this. She didn’t show up sometimes when filming Herbie and also in the movie she was in with Jane Fonda. Brett may very well like attention and perhaps this is consistent with his m.o., but it’s also consistent with Lindsay’s. Considering Lindsay was just out the other night clubbing with her mom until 4am, I’m kinda leaning towards Brett as being more likely of the two to be telling the truth on this.
