International cumulative is now up to $314.5 million!

North American cumulative is now up to $ $255.6 million!

In its third week in theaters, “New Moon” came in second place in box office receipts.

Domestically, “New Moon” earned $5.2 million on Friday (12/4) and $6.5 million on Saturday (12/5).

The international estimated weekend gross is $40.7 million.

They are already signed onto do Breaking Dawn. When they first signed on, they were given a contract that covered all four movies. The only way contract negotiations will reopen is if Summit decides to make Breaking Dawn into two movies. That was per Variety’s article early last week confirming that Summit was deciding whether or not Breaking Dawn will be two movies or one. It was the same thing with the HP cast. Their contracts were not renegotiated till they decided to make the last book into to two movies. Before then, they were locked into to do seven movies.

With figures over half a billion dollars and still growing Id say Summit will split Breaking Dawn. Its just an unbelievable amount!
