“Breaking Dawn” to be filmed in Louisiana and Vancouver

Summit Entertainment has just announced, “Breaking Dawn will be filmed in both Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Vancouver over the next year starting this fall.  The next chapter of THE TWILIGHT SAGA will be released as two separate films with the first of the two slated to be released in theatres on November 18, 2011.”

Bill Condon will direct both films, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

    melodyann, i agree with you. nothing is in the story for 3d. and summit make a big mistake with this scedule of releasing. i think they will loose so much fans in 18 months. and the fourth book..with stupid imprinting theme….as we can see, the eclipse doesn’t make the boxoffice as new moon. so summit make a decision and take the bd in one film . it would be enough. and let Rob make better films, though i love twilight and new moon, and don’t like eclipse because the portrayal of edward by the scrip. he is whinny and weak, not that strong as in the books.

    I agree with everything you said Hilda. Except for Eclipse I can’t comment on it because I haven’t seen it. Actually, I don’t want to see it. You are right when you talk about Summit’s mistake in trying to drag these films out and tap the (I don’t know any better fans) for more money. There has been way to much hype about these movies, that it has truly turned me against the series. I can’t wait for it to go away. But, I did like the books all but BD. The rest of the books Edward is so weak, whinny, cry baby.

    Putting this movie in 3D would be even more of and insult…

    Answer me one thing: Since when Louisianna and Vancouver look like Rio de Janeiro? I’m really upset about it. It only remains to say that Edward and Gustav will speak in English instead of Portuguese. =/

    Izabele, it’ s so sad to said, seems this way. As the martians perfect english speakers…the whole world would be spoken english.I hope Bill Condon won’t ruin this scene, we know Robert Pattinson likes to speak foreign languages. He spoke german in Munich, spoke hungarian in Budapest, tried to speak every languages with the reporters. Maybe he can speak portugese in BD, anywhere would be Rio.I hope they will shoot there, they made too much money from NM and Eclipse.
