Good for them, I can honestly say after 3 crappy films Breaking Dawn pt. 1 was actually a good film. I hope they end it on a good note with the last one.

Breaking Dawn was my favorite after Twilight. Hated New Moon because Edward and Bella weren’t together in it. When I read the book, I skipped past the part of Jacob. Eclipse was hohum. Bill Condon brought the romance back between Bella and Edward. Fingers crossed for BD2.

That’s excellent news. After Bel Ami being shown at the Berlinale, we should have a 3rd good news soon… Catherine Hardwicke had a good eye for casting Rob and Kristen, wish she would have directed New Moon. Twilight remains the best movie of the saga, but BD1 is 2nd.

ITA, I was surprised that I really enjoyed BD, Pt. 1, so I have to give credit to Bill C. for putting the romance and chemistry back into the franchise. I do hear some changes will be made in pt. 2 which will make it more enjoyable to the general public. I am crossing my fingers.

Twilight: some good scenes and general climate was OK, but they had little money and you could see it. New Moon: an utter failure! (except for the soundtrack and score). Eclipse: great Victoria and Bella’s horrible wig, ugh!; All three: I will never forgive Melissa Rosenberg and whoever on the crew for what they’ve done to Robert Pattinson in these. No wonder he hates it all. Breaking Dawn 1: now we’re talking – this is how you do it in ALL details! (almost: this wolves voiceover was cheesy as hell). Anyway: Pattinson moving from Harry Potter to Croneneberg is great, even if (unfortunately) it had to be through Twilight.

@solaris You have to be kidding. Rob does not hate it all. If it wasn’t for Twilight we might not be seeing Rob in any movies and he knows it also. Right now Rob has made over $17.5 million dollars on just BD 1 alone. Will make the same are more with BD 2. He made a little of a $1 million with WFE and probably less for BA and Cosmopolis. Twilight movies are the reason he’s being noticed and asked to do other movies. Do you really think Cronenberg would have gone to Robert Pattinson after Colin Farrell passed on Cosmopolis, he was asked first and declined for another movie for more money, if it wasn’t for the Twilight movies. Cronenberg didn’t know who Robert Pattinson was before his fame from the Twilight movies. Rob owes everything, per Rob he has said this on video, to the Twilight franchise. He just said it during BD promotions. Twilight are his movies and he wants them all to do good, so sad some of his fans don’t really see that. Rob couldn’t find a job after Harry Potter, per Rob he said this and it’s on video, so moving from Harry Potter to Twilight was the best thing for you and me because we know Rob now and if not for Twilight he would be in some bar playing on his guitar singing songs and you wouldn’t be seeing him BA or Cosmopolis are really anything else. Once again Rob has said Twilight changed his life for the better and he owes everything to Twilight.

I remember reading somewhere that Rob, Kristen and Taylor were going to receive certain percentages of the the gross profits from breaking dawn one and two and if they did as much as new moon, they stood to earn about 44 million dollars each.
Well we can now say they are well on their way to earning that now.

I guess you missed the times when Rob said reading Twilight was like snooping in Stephenie Meyer’s private diary and it made him uncomfortable. You must have also missed how he said the BD shoot was long and hard and it made him just want to scream.

He’s much smarter than the 7th grade reading level at which Twilight was written, I’m sure he was bored to death shooting these movies. He said all he did was stand around in the corner and look worried on the last two.

And he found plenty of work after Harry Potter, he made Little Ashes and How To Be. He wasn’t a failure, but he wasn’t getting the kind of acting jobs he wanted, so he was going to concentrate on his music. He owes his current ability to pick and choose the scripts he wants to do in the future to his fame from Twilight, but I’m not sure he wouldn’t be just as happy to be playing music in a little pub and have his private life to himself again.

And he’s the reason BD1 made so much money, he’s the one selling tickets. His movie Cosmopolis is in the finals at the MTV most anticipated movies poll, knocking out all the other big franchise films like Batman, Spiderman, etc. SWATH couldn’t even make it past the first round, that’s how many fans KStew has. Her indie films don’t make a profit and she owes everything she has now to Rob’s charisma. His 2 movies since Twilight have both made a profit, his fans support him in all his efforts.

You need to get a clue. By Rob’s own admission he was broke, unemployed, and drunk when he was offered the chance to audition for Edward. The mtv poll is a joke and everyone is well aware of the nonstens cheating on the voting to get Cosmopolis in the running. Kristens films did great before Twilight and SWATH is kicking ass and it’s not even due till June. I like Rob too, so I will not defend Kristen by bashing him, but Kristen is well regarded in Hollywood by Directors, producers, costars, and most of all by her biggest fan Rob Pattinson.

Funny how these “utter failures” you speak of are multimillion dollar utter failures. The Twilight Saga is a HUGE success by anyones standards. I had never heard of Rob Pattinson until Twilight and I knew who Kristen Stewart was. Her indie films are beyond phenomonal Cake Eaters, Into The Wild, WTTR, Speak, The Messengers are just a few. She has the respect of some of the most influential Hollywood peeps, that most other stars would have to sleep around to get. She is beautiful, talented, and is able to rise above juvenille hatesr like you. You may want to wait until Cosmopolis comes out before singing it’s praises. Cronenbergs lastest film was a FLOP and had an A-list cast. Cosmopolis has Rob, and sorry but Rob is just not that great of an actor. I don’t care to watch another Rob film that consists of him fucking anything that will stand still, while trying to look bothered and tortured (his infamous constipated face).

So sad that KStew’s fans can’t deal with logic and have to resort to cussing and name-calling, just like their gutter-mouth idol.

Sorry, but Cosmopolis comes from a respected director and it’s at the top of dozens of lists. SWATH has a newcommer who directed commercials, and it’s just another wannabe teen franchise. The producer, Joe Roth even said he KStew was only known for one role, Bella.

ALL of her indies were flops, none of them ever made a profit, they were all failures. The $200 million budget insures that it will have to make $600 mil to make a profit, and that’s almost impossible. Not to mention it’s going to get slaughtered at the box office because it’s opening against real summer blockbusters starring actresses that audience actually like, as opposed to Little Miss Snarling Entitlement.

Bel Ami is premiering at the Berlin Film Festival, a highly respected venue. And Cosmopolis has “quality” written all over it. Rob didn’t sell his soul and make a grab for attention by selling his soul to another teen franchise the way she did.

K-11 is premiering at the Berlin Film Fest as well (Jules Mann-Stewarts film) and PLEASE link me to these sites with Cosmopolis at the tops of the list.. They don’t exist. Go to fandango, deadline, movieline, Forbes, etc and you will NOT see Cosmopolis at the top of ANY list. SWATH is kicking ass and is expected to blow the box office wide open. Sorry, but no one cares to see another movie with Rob fucking random females, while drunk, and trying to have an facial expression that still comes off as his constipated face. Oh, enjoy the SWATH trailer that is expected to be played during the superbowl.

Virgin Media Movie Awards are on now in the UK and Kristen has over 702,000 votes in “favorite girl” category and she’s up against a lot of competition. Obviously she has a big fan base. And she is doing okay in other categories that she is nominated in. Kristen is a hugely popular girl.

No, she’s in a neck and neck race with Emma Watson, the other girls don’t have a thousand votes between them. It’s a 2 person race and the lead has gone back and forth, she’s not a clear winner.

If you respect KStew so much then why do you try to throw Rob under the bus? You’re a lousy fan, I guess the only kind she can attract. No one posting here thinks they have a chance with Rob, don’t be insane. It’s possible to be entertained by an actor without wanting to screw him. Do you want to screw her? Is that why you’re a fan? You might look at the youtube videos of the 10,000 fans who lined up to see Rob in Stockholm, They aren’t middle aged fat women, you loser. They were beautiful women of all ages, tall, thin, curvy–and you could check the thousands of women who lined up days before in Paris, Berlin and Barcelona, too. All ages, all types. He has a mass appeal, he doesn’t just appeal to a narrow range of insecure skinny jeans-and-hoodie wearing wannabes.

That’s why he’ll have a long and successful respected career, because he didn’t immediately sell out by doing another teen franchise the way she did.

So that makes you special somehow? What’s the point of explaining a plot to someone who is too dumb to use Google? It takes about 10 seconds to find out the plot of Cosmopolis. And the novel is quite complex, with many layers.

But even if that person hadn’t read the book, what difference does it make? They want to see Rob’s films, no matter what they’re about. A vote for Cosmopolis was a vote for Rob, just like a vote for THG was a vote for the book, not the movie. No one’s seen the movie yet, how could they know it was good or not?

And Twilight sites weren’t even encouraging people to vote, since they wanted BD2 to win, and when it got knocked out, they stopped voting. Rob’s fans did this on their own, proving he’s the biggest star.

Since Cosmopolis was just voted the Most Anticipated Movie of 2012 with millions of votes at MTV, I doubt it’s going to bomb. KStew’s movie couldn’t scrap up enough votes to get out of the first round. Which movie is gong to bomb? The one most people want to see or the one that no on wanted to vote for? Think you need help coming up with the answer?

And since Cosmopolis was made for around $20 million, it only has to make $60 million to be profitable. It can easily do that. SWATH has to earn $600 million. Do you have any idea how many films make over $500 million? It’s a very small number.

And June is full of blockbuster movies, it won’t be the only film opening that weekend. Odds are against it from the start. LOTR fans already hate it because it looks like a copy, and they’ll be supporting The Hobbit. People who think Bella sucked in Twilight won’t go see it, and girls who want a fairy tale romance won’t see it either because it looks too violent and dark with no romance and no actress they can identify with.

Hmmmm. II’m pretty sure it was a movie brawl, not an actor brawl. Also, if a fan is going on and on about the great plot of the movie they should be able to tell you the plot.

I don’t understand why all this mean conversation has to be about eitheer one of the 2. Why does it always have to be if you like Rob (and I do) then you have to hate Kristen? Or vice versa. I agree. The books were written by a woman and from a female point of view. Who better to interpret this kind of story than a woman? The men were fine, but there was too much extra added story line. Why do they have to do that ? The books had a lot of good story line that was ommited or altered. This feels so egocentric of the directors.

My thoughts regarding Robsessed1986 would remain the same as always. While I can agree that QueenNothing and Sinical can be the nastiest of the bunch I’ve looked at their tumblrs and other than their hate of Kristen they are not much different from some of my friends If i turned my back on people in my life that was not a Kristen fan I would be divorced, not talk to my family, and would have few friends. My respect of Robsessed had never been based on who she is or is not friends with, but based on the fact she has been respectful of me and we have alot of things in common that have nothing to do with Rob, Kristen or anything Twi related. The fact is no one but Rob and Kristen know the ins and outs of their relationship and just how serious it is or is not. While all of us are busy tearing each other apart over it they are living their lives and enjoying it. At the end of the day does it really matter if Rob and Kristen are a couple or not?? Will their being a couple help someone get a job promotion, or make more money?? Will them being a couple help mend a broken friendship or relationship, or mend a broken family?? NO. I will continue to see their movies and be a fan. But I will not let it rule my life, or my relationships with other people. My only problem with those who don’t like Kristen is them ripping her apart simply because they do not like her as an actress. There is never any good reason to bash an actors/actresses family, friends, lifestyle, fashion choices, etc because their acting does not please you. That goes for any actor or actress not just Kristen. I do not believe Robsessed1986 has had any alliance with anyone and I will continue to talk to her regardless of who else she follows. She is a great person and I enjoy debating with her.

I’m not sure what Lilo2 is on, but I looked around on the internet and it looks like Kristen was seen talking to some of the OTR mgmt, which may be where she got Cannes from (???). And Dana21 you are right it is not until May. There had been some rumors about OTR being screened at Cannes and it’s looking like that may be true.
