WATCH: Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf And ‘Fury’ Cast Surprise Fans At New York Screening
Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and the rest of the Fury cast surprised fans at a screening of the film on Tuesday. While the war flick doesn’t open in theaters until Friday, moviegoers got more than just a preview (video below).
Seated at a theater in New York City, the audience rose to its feet when Pitt walked in with the rest of the cast behind him, including Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, and Jon Bernthal. As Pitt took the mic, his co-stars threw t-shirts into the crowd. “We put a lot into this film,” said Pitt. “We’re really proud of it. We hope you love it.” Director and writer David Ayer also revealed that the group was “the first real audience to see this film ever.” And they got to see the movie stars to boot!
Fury is a historical fiction film set in World War II, as the Americans battled the Nazis in Europe. Pitt plays Army Sergeant Don “Wardaddy” Collier who in charge of the men on a tank called Fury during what would turn out to be the last month of fighting. The movie is getting mostly positive reviews so far. Check out the video below!
