Brad Pitt NOT Planning Superhero Movie, Despite Report
Brad Pitt is NOT planning to make a superhero movie, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
“Starring In Superhero Flick? Why He’s Ready For A Blockbuster After Angie Split,” blares a new HollywoodLife headline. The accompanying article goes on to claim that once Pitt’s divorce from Angelina Jolie is settled, “he wants to dive into a blockbuster film project.” A so-called “source” tells the site, “Brad Pitt, 52, is looking to do a little more work with super A-List directors like Steven Spielberg, 70, and be involved in more blockbusters.” Of course, it’s a bit peculiar the outlet’s supposed insider felt it was necessary to provide the ages of both men.
The webloid’s questionable source adds, “He is very interested in doing superhero films and big tentpole, summer-friendly type films, stuff that his career has mostly steered clear from in the past. He just wants to have more fun.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to Pitt, who calls the outlet’s seemingly fake quotes “moronic” and exclusively assures us the actor hasn’t set his sights on a superhero project. And while it’s entirely possible Pitt could star in a blockbuster sometime soon, his career choices have nothing to do with his split from Jolie.
Of course, Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted the site for its many inaccurate stories about the actor. In fact, we recently published an entire report breaking down the many stories that HollywoodLife made up about Pitt. This latest article is yet another fabrication to add to the collection.
