Brad Pitt Did NOT Have “Secret Reunion” With Angelina Jolie In Cambodia, Despite Report
Brad Pitt did NOT have a “secret reunion” in Cambodia with Angelina Jolie and their kids, despite a bogus webloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim.
According to HollywoodLife, the actor recently went on a “covert trip” to the Southeast Asian country, where Jolie filmed First They Killed My Father, and was able to “hide from cameras by not staying in the same town as his estranged wife.” A so-called “source” tells the site, “Brad pulled off a secret rendezvous with Angelina by first checking into a plush resort a few towns over from where they were staying, and they split time with the children.”
The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “Brad and Angie never crossed paths themselves, but the kids were able to enjoy time with both parents during their international trip. She was able to give the children time with their father while avoiding seeing him too.” All of these supposed details, however, are simply inaccurate.
Jolie shot First They Killed My Father in early 2016 while she and Pitt were still together, and it was only during this time period that he visited her and the kids. His trips to the nation weren’t a secret, and he never traveled to Cambodia to “reunite” with Jolie following their split. HollywoodLife simply took an inaccurate E! story about Pitt going on a secret trip to Cambodia, and then put its own false spin on the already flawed report.
A rep for Pitt previously told Gossip Cop that the actor flew to Cambodia last year when Jolie “was shooting her film,” but “not recently.” The webloid’s rundown of events in which the estranged spouses “never crossed paths” is entirely fabricated.
In fact, Gossip Cop already called out HollywoodLife for using E!’s incorrect information to make up its own fake news story about Pitt playing with the kids during a secret reunion. But Pitt was only with Jolie in Cambodia when they were still together last year, and the website has once again been caught adding “exclusive” phony details to an existing report.
