Brad Pitt Rescues Woman During ‘World War Z’ Stampede?

Brad Pitt doesn’t just play a hero on the big screen.
While filming World War Z in Glasgow, the actor reportedly rescued a female extra who had slipped and fallen during a scene in which hundreds of people are seen stampeding during a zombie invasion.
On Thursday, approximately 700 extras were in the city’s George Square for the sequence when the woman fell and risked being trampled before Pitt scooped her up, according to the Scottish Sun.
“Lots of people hurt themselves, and Brad came to the rescue of a woman who slipped,” says a source for the paper. “I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up.”
“He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a badly-grazed knee,” adds the set insider.
Glasgow stands in for Philadelphia in World War Z.
It’s a nice story and all, but Gossip Cop can’t confirm it.
We’re told extras have hurt themselves in several scenes, and Pitt may have helped one up back on her feet, but there was nothing nearly as dramatic as the Scottish Sun claims.
