Brad Pitt Rescues Woman During ‘World War Z’ Stampede?

Brad Pitt doesn’t just play a hero on the big screen.

While filming World War Z in Glasgow, the actor reportedly rescued a female extra who had slipped and fallen during a scene in which hundreds of people are seen stampeding during a zombie invasion.

On Thursday, approximately 700 extras were in the city’s George Square for the sequence when the woman fell and risked being trampled before Pitt scooped her up, according to the Scottish Sun.

“Lots of people hurt themselves, and Brad came to the rescue of a woman who slipped,” says a source for the paper. “I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up.”

“He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a badly-grazed knee,” adds the set insider.

Glasgow stands in for Philadelphia in World War Z.

It’s a nice story and all, but Gossip Cop can’t confirm it.

We’re told extras have hurt themselves in several scenes, and Pitt may have helped one up back on her feet, but there was nothing nearly as dramatic as the Scottish Sun claims.

sounds like something brad would do.

This story is made up right? Nothing like trying to bring a little attention to old Brad and his next flop movie.

You are sooooo nasty! And you must be under 40. No one over 40, especially a woman, would say something this rotten about the sexiest man alive…..and to me he still IS the sexiest man alive!

And the Chaz Bono comment was a really cheap shot.

This is one of the few stories printed about Brad Pitt that actually has some truth though I think the rescue part was a bit exaggerated. Brad is a good guy and it is not surprising he would help somebody in need.

Flop movie? Most of his movies have managed to become critically and commercially successful despite the haters and tabloid lemmings. He is aging like a regular guy which I respect amidst an industry where most people get work done.
