Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Marriage NOT ‘Destroyed By Another Woman,’ Despite Report
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage has NOT been “destroyed by another woman,” despite a completely fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.
Pitt is currently in London shooting the upcoming WWII thriller Five Seconds of Silence, which co-stars Marion Cotillard as his love interest. And now according to an In Touch cover story, Pitt and Jolie’s “marriage is over” and it’s all Cotillard’s fault. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Angelina just walked out on Brad,” because she’s supposedly consumed with jealousy and suspicion over his on-set relationship with the actress.
The tabloid’s dubious insider goes on to claim that Jolie is “frightened to death of what-goes-around-comes-around syndrome,” referring to her and Pitt falling in love on the set of 2005’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. “Marion is not only beautiful and talented, but she’s exactly the kind of sultry European actress Angie has always wanted to be,” adds the magazine’s “source.”
And despite blaring on its cover, “Divorce Papers!” the tabloid then acknowledges that no such documents have actually been filed, but claims that he plans to do so soon. The unreliable outlet then goes on to quote its seemingly phony source with such stock phrases as “living separate lives,” “doomed” and “[they’re] done,” before concluding that Jolie “sabotaged herself,” due to her supposed jealousy.
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, and we’re exclusively assured there’s simply “no truth” to the tabloid’s entire account of events. Pitt and Jolie have been together for more than a decade, during which time they’ve both worked alongside many attractive co-stars. The couple’s marriage is going strong and this is simply a non-issue.
Of course, it’s not the least bit surprising the tabloid would make up such a story. In Touch has been trying to break up Pitt and Jolie for years, and Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected the tabloid for its many false stories. This past January, we exclusively debunked the magazine’s claim that Pitt was “planning to file divorce papers” by February. Of course, time has proven that story untrue. Gossip Cop has also busted several false claims about the couple “living apart” and having the “fight to end all fights.” The tabloid’s latest report is similarly bogus.
