Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie NOT In Danger Of Losing Pax And Maddox, Despite Report
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are NOT in danger of having their adopted sons Maddox and Pax taken away from them, despite an incorrect tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”
The estranged spouses are currently battling for custody of their six children, but according to a bogus story in the National Enquirer, 15-year-old Maddox and 13-year-old Pax may be sent back to their biological parents. Pax was adopted from a Vietnam orphanage in 2007, but the tabloid now claims the boy’s birth mother will soon be released from prison and wants to be reunited with him. “I’m sure both Brad and Angie are freaking out over this,” a so-called “source” tells the outlet. “It’s been a fear from day one that the biological parents of their adopted kids would resurface.”
Meanwhile, Maddox was adopted from Cambodia 15 years ago and his birth parents are believed to have passed away. But the magazine alleges his adoption was “brokered by a crooked agent” and his Cambodian parents may still be alive and looking for him. The publication’s “source” says this supposed situation is “terrifying” to Pitt and Jolie, adding, “The trauma of possibly losing their children is both Angie and Brad’s worst nightmare come true.”
But despite the tabloid’s attempt to complicate the former spouses’ custody situation, this new narrative about their adopted kids is completely false. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Pitt, who exclusively assures us Pax and Maddox aren’t in danger of being sent back to their birth countries. We’re told the outlet’s claim otherwise is simply “false.”
In fact, the Enquirer has been quite untrustworthy when it comes to accurately reporting about the ex-couple’s divorce. Gossip Cop previously busted the magazine’s cover story falsely alleging Pitt had beat Jolie and the kids. That claim was completely untrue, and the tabloid’s latest tale is equally fabricated.
