Brad Pitt ‘Making Moves’ on Judd Apatow?
Brad Pitt is “cozying up” to Judd Apatow because he “wants to star in a comedy!” reports RadarOnline. The webloid “has learned” that the actor is “poised to surprise his fans by doing something much lighter” than his recent 12 Years A Slave.
According to a “source” for RadarOnline, “Brad has avoided doing comedies for several years but that’s going to change soon. He’s been making moves to butter up Judd, someone he’s known for more than 15 years.”
The problem, claims the site, is that Apatow is close with Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and “firmly sided with ‘Team Aniston’ during their divorce.” Even so, RadarOnline’s source says, “Brad wants Judd to write a new comedy with him in mind to re-introduce audiences to his comedic side.”
“This all puts Judd in a tricky spot because of his longtime friend Jen, but the divorce was a long time ago and Judd is very interested in writing and directing Brad,” explains the webloid’s insider. “He is going to do his best to make something work in the coming months.”
The reason RadarOnline is so vague on the specifics and the timetable is because the whole thing is fabricated. While it’s certainly possible that Pitt could make a comedy at some point in the future, there have been no moves made toward an Apatow collaboration. “None of this is true whatsoever,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop.
